Zhu Jianshu talks about the application status of intelligent buildings in Central China

Professor Zhu Jianshu, executive director of Wuhan Civil and Architectural Society

[Expert Profile]

Professor Zhu Jianshu is a senior engineer. He graduated from Tianjin University in 1962 with a major in power systems and automation. He once served as the chief electrical engineer of Wuhan Architectural Design Institute; presided over the design of dozens of large-scale key engineering electrical parts of the country and localities, and won many excellent design awards from the State, Ministry of Construction, Hubei Province and Wuhan City. In terms of building intelligent achievements, he won the Yellow River Cup Invention Award of Wuhan Municipal Government, and his thesis won the second prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Association Excellent Paper. He is currently an expert of the China Construction Association Intelligent Building Professional Committee, executive director of the Wuhan Civil Engineering Association, and chairman of the Intelligent Committee of the Municipal Civil Engineering Association.

Reporter: As an expert in the intelligent building industry, please talk about the development of intelligent buildings in Wuhan today. What do you think are the problems in the process of intelligent construction and promotion?

Professor Zhu: The development of Wuhan's intelligent building industry is slower than that of coastal cities, but it is relatively fast compared with the mainland, especially in recent years. At present, there are about two or three hundred large and small intelligent engineering companies in Wuhan, and new buildings designed by major design institutes, especially public buildings, such as large stadiums, theaters, hospitals, schools, hotels, commercial moors, high-end The intelligent systems of buildings and other buildings are relatively advanced, which also shows that leaders and owners at all levels attach great importance to the development and application of intelligence.

Now there are two projects in Wuhan that are relatively advanced in the country. First, the promotion of fiber-to-the-home, Wuhan is a fiber-optic production base. The city leaders pay more attention to and support the development of fiber-optic technology. At present, the pilot project of fiber-to-the-home in the community is very successful, and the cost of fiber has been lowered a lot. in. This is relatively leading for the country. The second is the expansion of wireless broadband in Wuhan's cities. Recently, Wuhan has been vigorously expanding its work in this area. There is a street in Wuchang, and all the buildings on both sides of the street have wireless Internet access, which is different from mobile and telecom 3G, because it is free and exists as a public utility. At present, the promotion of these two aspects in Wuhan is relatively good.

Before, some people in the department did not understand the intelligence. When they proposed to build an intelligent system, they hoped that they would not fall behind in 20 years, but this is impossible, because the system will start to fall behind as long as it is installed, so it can only be advanced at that time. of. Many projects hope to be backward, all IBMS (system integration) must be used, but this is not scientific, my point of view is to consider according to their respective needs. Everyone knows that the management, operation and maintenance of system integration requires certain technology. Now, an ordinary employee of a property company rarely knows the technology. If the relevant technical staff is hired, the operating cost of the unit will be relatively increased and will not be given up. In less buildings, IBMS became a display. Therefore, it is necessary to implement all the intelligent systems according to the different situations of each building in each unit, in time, in the place, and in the cause, rather than in a unified or blind manner.

In terms of intelligence, we use the most widely used communication systems, security systems, and then BA systems. The benefits of the BA system are mainly reflected in energy conservation and should be strongly promoted now. The security system is now growing at a particularly fast pace, and its importance is obvious to everyone. However, when building a security system, it should not be too complicated. One move is a few hundred cameras. The person on duty can't see it at all, and the amount of image storage is too large. Of course, it can't be too simple, and all the devices are omitted. .

Reporter: Does the country have a comprehensive third-party acceptance standard for intelligent system engineering quality testing?

Professor Zhu: At present, there are no nationally recognized third-party acceptance units for intelligent systems in many places in the country. For example, there is no such thing as Wuhan. Many acceptance specifications have only come out in recent years. They have not yet been released. Integrated wiring and security are subject to acceptance specifications, but BA has not. Recently, a certain unit in Anhui was building an intelligent system. Before the preparation and contract with the engineering contract, there was no omission. I gave them a recommendation on the acceptance and suggested that they must take third-party acceptance. The construction of the intelligent system does not meet the design requirements. The local quality inspection stations (engineering quality inspection stations) have no means in this regard for the time being. They are often accepted by the engineering company themselves. If the acceptance is qualified, they will be signed and used by Party A, so After the completion of construction, the third-party acceptance shall be adopted to ensure that the intended purpose is achieved and the relevant national standards and norms are met.

Reporter: Can you tell me about your experience in the building automation industry?

Professor Zhu: For me, I am more familiar with BA (Building Automation), which is related to my personal experience. During the Cultural Revolution, he was transferred to a factory to work on automated instrumentation, from technicians to engineers, design chiefs and deputy directors, for a total of 12 years. Industrial automation is much more complicated than the current building automation control, so it is relatively simple to engage in building automation.

Reporter: You have designed dozens of major national and local key projects, and have won many excellent design awards from the State, Ministry of Construction, Hubei Province and Wuhan City. How do you feel that building energy efficiency is better reflected in pre-design and post-construction?

Professor Zhu: Building energy conservation is very extensive. An architectural design and each major must adopt their own energy-saving measures. As far as the electrical profession is concerned, it is first necessary to formulate a reasonable and energy-saving power supply scheme, select energy-saving appliances, use reactance capacitor compensation to suppress harmonics, select high-efficiency lamps and energy-saving light sources, and so on. Secondly, it is necessary to adopt intelligent systems, such as intelligent lighting control systems and building automation systems, which need to manage lighting and air conditioning, including illumination and temperature control. This is one aspect of building energy conservation that we usually refer to. Therefore, building energy conservation is not something that one can solve. What is needed is everyone's joint efforts. The first step in energy conservation is measurement. If there is no consideration of energy, there is no way to save energy. What is the annual energy consumption of a public building? It is necessary to measure to know if there is any excess, so that attention will be paid to the dosage. In the case of building or rebuilding a building, these intelligent control issues need to be considered, such as lighting, air conditioning, elevator control, etc. Intelligent buildings are efficient, comfortable, energy-saving, and safe. Energy-saving is an important aspect of intelligent systems.

Reporter: The Wuhan area has developed particularly fast in recent years. How can we better integrate environmental protection and development?

Professor Zhu: The country has approved two urban circles, namely Changsha and Wuhan. Wuhan and its surrounding eighty-nine cities are developing Wuhan city circles, and many people should be concerned about this. In the past two or three years, the state has paid special attention to the development of a harmonious city circle, which is also an environmentally friendly city. Wuhan proposes to create a two-type society with environmental friendliness and resource conservation. Environmental protection and development are not contradictory. The two are a harmonious relationship, and intelligence will only promote environmental protection. In short, the energy saving concept mentioned above, saving electricity and water, saving resources and reducing pollution to the environment are all advocated by environmental protection.

Reporter: What changes have been made to the current intelligent building design compared to the past? How do you think about it?

Professor Zhu: Technology is constantly improving, and intelligent systems are becoming more and more advanced. People's awareness of this aspect is also constantly improving, so it is definitely different. In 1994, when I was designing Pudong Liangyou Building, the first batch of 36 key projects in Pudong, Shanghai, the 3A concept was just launched. We applied it to the design at that time. At that time, Wuhan was not able to accept this technology. Now look at 3A technology. It is quite popular.
