1. Scope This standard specifies the definition, classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and packaging and transportation requirements for LED display. This standard applies to LED display products. It is the main technical basis for the design, manufacture, installation, use, quality inspection and formulation of various technical standards and technical documents for LED display products.

2, the reference standard

The provisions contained in the following standards constitute provisions of this standard by reference in this standard. The versions shown are valid at the time of publication. 3, definition

This standard uses the following abbreviations and definitions:

3.1 LED light emitting diode ligth EMItting diode

3.3 display unit The smallest unit of the LED display that is determined by the circuit and the mounting structure and has a display function.

3.4 fatal failure critICal defect The quality characteristics of the hazardous or unsafe conditions of the use, maintenance or related personnel, or the important characteristics of the unit product are seriously not in conformity with the regulations.


3.5 Out-of-control point The illuminating state does not match the display state of the control request and is a discrete LED basic illuminating point.

3.6 Pseudo-color LED display The pseudo-color LED panel is equipped with LED displays of different primary color LED devices in different areas of the LED display.

3.7 Full-color LED display all-color LED panel consists of three primary color LED devices of red, green and blue and can display a variety of color LED display.

4, classification

LED displays can be classified according to the following conditions:

4.1 Use environment:

The LED display is divided into an indoor LED display and an outdoor LED display according to the use environment.

4.2 Display color:

The LED display is divided into a single primary color LED display (including pseudo color LED display), a dual primary color LED display and a full color (three primary color) LED display according to the display color. According to the gray level, it can be divided into 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 gray LED display.

4.3 Display performance:

LED display screen is divided into text LED display, graphic LED display, computer video LED display, TV video LED display and market LED display according to display performance. Quotes

4.4 Basic luminous points:

5, requirements

5.1 Hardware environment of LED display

The LED display hardware part includes a general-purpose computer part, a communication line, a dedicated data conversion part, and a display part determined according to the type, area, and use site of the LED display. In the detailed specification it should be stated:

a. Requirements for computer mainframes, various optional plug-in cards, external devices, and communication interfaces;

b. Requirements for the communication line and indicate the maximum communication distance;

c. The communication mode of the data conversion part and the host computer;

d. Power supply requirements and structural installation requirements.

5.2 LED display software environment

LED display screens with different performances should be equipped with display software that meets their display function requirements. The software has the following functions:

a. Comply with serialization and standardization requirements, and be backward compatible;

b. Adopt the operating system and language specified in the detailed specification;

c. Equipped with a comprehensive self-test procedure and various levels of diagnostic procedures as needed;

d. Equipped with special software for special purpose LED displays.

5.3 Structure and appearance


5.3.1 Structure: The LED display part can be made of steel, aluminum or wood. The structure is required to be strong and beautiful.


5.3.2 Appearance: There is no obvious scratch on the LED display frame. The outdoor LED display pixel tube should be installed consistently, without looseness and broken shell.

5.4 Safety requirements

The LED display is a Class I safety device specified in GB4943.

5.4.1 LED display protection ground terminal.

5.4.2 Security Mark

5.4.2.1 LED display protection The ground terminal shall be marked.


5.4.2.2 The LED display shall have a warning sign at the fuse and switching power supply.

5.4.3 Earth leakage current: The earth leakage current of the LED display should not exceed 3.5mA (AC RMS).

5.4.4 Anti-electricity strength: The LED display screen can test insulation voltage of 50Hz, 1500V (AC RMS) for 1min without insulation breakdown.

5.4.5 Temperature rise LED display When the party is in use, the temperature rise of the metal part does not exceed the hard 45K after the heat balance is reached, and the temperature rise of the insulation material does not exceed 70K.

5.5 LED display performance characteristics

The text LED display and the graphic LED display shall have the move in and out mode and display mode specified in the detailed specification.

The computer video LED display should have: an animation function. It is required that the LED display animation display is consistent with the area corresponding to the computer display; the text display function. Requires text to display stable, clear crosstalk; grayscale function. It is required to have the grade gray scale specified in the detailed specification. In addition to animation, text display, and grayscale functions, TV video LED displays should be able to display TV and video images. The market LED display has the corresponding market display capability.

5.6 uniformity

The requirements for uniformity of the LED display shall be specified in the detailed specification.

5.7 Out of control points

The out-of-control point of the indoor LED display is no more than three-tenths of a percent, and the out-of-control point of the outdoor LED display should be less than three-thousandths;

5.8 Power supply

The power supply of the LED display is 220W±10%, 50Hz±5% or 80V±10%, 50HXZ±5% should specify the maximum power consumption of the LED display unit area or the total LED display power in the detailed specification. Consumption.

5.9 Environmental adaptability

5.9.2.1 Temperature:

The ambient temperature of the indoor screen is: working environment low temperature: 00C; high temperature: +400C. Storage environment low temperature: -400C; high temperature: +600C. Outdoor screen ambient temperature: working environment low temperature: optional -200C, -100C; high temperature :+500C. Storage environment low temperature: -400C; high temperature: +600C.

5.9.2.2 Damp heat: At the highest operating temperature, the LED display should be able to work normally at a relative humidity of 90%.

5.9.3 Vibration: The LED display is subjected to vibrations during transportation, loading and unloading, and moving in automobiles, trains, and airplanes. The car screen should be able to work properly during the operation of the installed vehicle.

5.9.4 Transportation: The LED display can be transported by ordinary means of transportation such as cars, trains and airplanes.

5.10 Reliability requirements

The average fault-free working time MTBF (ml) of the LED display unit is not less than 10000h.

6, inspection method

6.1 Hardware environment of LED display

Visual inspection of the hardware environment of the LED display shall comply with the requirements of 5.1.

6.2 LED display software usage environment

Visual inspection of the software use environment of the LED display should meet the requirements of 5.2.

6.3 Structure and appearance

Visual inspection of the structure and appearance of the LED display shall comply with the requirements of 5.3.

6.4 Safety requirements

6.4.1 Grounding: Visual inspection of the LED display shall meet the requirements of 5.4.1.

6.4.2 Safety mark: The safety mark of the LED display shall be checked by visual inspection and shall meet the requirements of 5.4.2.

6.4.3 Earth leakage current: Under the 1.1 times rated power supply voltage, the ground leakage current between the LED display power cable and the metal frame shall be tested to meet the requirements of 5.4.3.

6.4.4 Anti-electric strength: The LED display power switch is in the on position, and 1500V (AC RMS) is applied between the power input end and the metal frame or accessible metal structure, 1min, which should meet the requirements of 5.4.4. .

6.4.5 Temperature rise: The LED display shall test the temperature of each accessible point with a thermometer after one hour of operation, and shall meet the requirements of 5.4.5.

6.5 Performance characteristics:

According to the different types of LED display, the performance characteristics of the LED display should be checked and the requirements of 5.5 should be met. Use the display test software for the text and graphic LED display to check the move in and out mode and display mode through visual inspection. Through the visual inspection of the computer video LED display screen, the computer animation is used to compare and check the animation function, and the LED display screen and the computer monitor are used to check the text display function, and the special grayware function is checked by the special test software. In addition to the above animation, text, and grayscale function check on the TV video LED display, there should also be a video source to check the TV and video functions. For various market LED displays, the corresponding test software should be used to check the market display function.

6.6 Uniformity: Visually check the uniformity of the LED display screen and meet the requirements of 5.6.

6.7 Out of control points: Visually check the out of control points of the LED display, which should meet the requirements of 5.7.

6.8 Power supply: The power supply of the LED display shall be measured with a wattmeter and shall meet the requirements of 5.8.

6.9 Environmental adaptability

6.9.1 High temperature load test

The high temperature load test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.2. Under the condition of (40±2)0C for the indoor screen, the outdoor screen is energized for 8 hours under the condition of (50±2)0C, and the inspection is performed every hour. Check the move-in and remove mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point for the text LED display and the graphic LED display. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out of control points on the computer video and TV video LED display. Check the market display function of the market LED display. Both should meet the requirements of 5.5, 6.6 and 5.7.

6.9.2 High temperature storage test

The high temperature storage test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.2. After storage for 4h under (60±2)0C condition and 4h after recovery at room temperature, the text LED display and graphic LED display screen are checked for moving in and out, display mode, uniformity and out of control. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out of control points on the computer video and TV video LED display. Check the market display function of the market LED display. Both should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7.

6.9.3 Damp heat load test

The damp heat load test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.3. Under the condition that the indoor screen is at (40±2)0C and the relative humidity is 87%-93%, the outdoor screen is energized to work 8H under the condition of (50±2)0C and relative humidity of 87%-93%. Check in once every hour. Check the move-in and move-out mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point on the text LED display and the graphic LED display. Check the market function of the market LED display. Both should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7.

6.9.4 Constant damp heat test

The constant damp heat test was carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.3. Under the condition of (40±2)0C and relative humidity of 87%-93%, store the outdoor screen at (50±2)0C and the relative humidity of 87%-93%. Immediately after the storage test, the measurement of ground leakage current, electric strength and temperature rise shall be carried out, and the requirements of 5.4.3, 5.4.4 and 5.4.5 shall be met. After recovering 4H in the room temperature environment, the text LED display and the graphic LED display screen are checked for moving in and out, display mode, uniformity and out of control points. Check the movement mode, display mode, uniformity and out of control of the computer video and TV video LED display. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out of control points on the computer video and TV video LED display. Check the market display function of the market LED display. Both should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7.

6.9.7 Vibration test

The vibration test BG6587.4 is specified for the display unit. Under the condition of vibration frequency 5H-55H-5H and amplitude of 0.19MM, 5IMN scans once, in two directions, scanning twice in each direction. After the test, check the text LED display and the graphic LED display and the graphic LED display to move in and out, display mode, uniformity and out of control points. Check the animation function, text display function, gray level energy, uniformity and out of control points of the computer video and TV video LED display. Check the market display function of the market LED display and the graphic LED display. All should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7.

6.9.8 Transportation test

The transport test is carried out on the display unit according to the class-level circulation conditions specified in GB6587.6. After the test. Check the move-in and remove mode, display mode, uniformity and out-of-control point for the text LED display and the graphic LED display. Check the animation function, text display function, grayscale function, uniformity and out of control points on the computer video and TV video LED display. Check the market display function of the market LED display. Both should meet the requirements of 5.5, 5.6 and 7. The on-site transportation test shall be carried out for the LED display of the vehicle-mounted mobile work.

6.10 Reliability test

The reliability test is carried out on the display unit in accordance with the provisions of GB11463. A=20%, B=20%, DM=3.0. It is also allowed to conduct reliability verification test according to the contract.

7 Inspection rules

7.1 Inspection Project

7.2 Identification test

7.2.1 Identification test is divided into design qualification test and production appraisal test.

7.2.2 The qualification inspection shall be carried out by the designated department at the higher level or the quality inspection unit entrusted.

7.2.3 Sampling methods and inspection items

7.2.3.1 The hardware usage environment, software usage environment, structure and appearance, safety requirements, performance characteristics, uniformity, out of control, and power supply of the LED display shall be checked to meet the requirements of 5.1-5.8.

7.2.3.2 Randomly draw the LED display screen from 7.2.3.1 to obtain the set display unit on schedule. 9 Conduct environmental compliance testing.

7.2.3.3 The certified LED display is on schedule. The requirements of 10 are tested for reliability. Use the timing fixed censoring test scheme specified in GB11463 1-2.


7.2.3.4 Conduct on-site test of the LED display designed for identification.


7.2.4 The qualification criteria are prior. 2.3.1, 7.2.3.2 inspection, the second non-fatal failure is allowed, and the excess is judged as unqualified.

The inspection of 7.2.3.3 shall comply with the requirements of GB11463.

The inspection of 7.2.3.4 shall comply with the requirements of this standard and the LED display enterprise standard.


7.3 Quality consistency test


7.3.1 Quality consistency test is divided into group A test, group C test and group F test.


7.3.2 Group A test


7.3.2.1 Group A inspection is the inspection of the basic requirements of LED displays.

7.3.2.2 The items of the A group test are as specified in the expression. The LED display needs to be tested one by one. Any product that is not qualified shall be returned to the production department for repair and re-inspected.


7.3.2.3 The test of Group A shall be carried out by the quality inspection department of the LED display production unit or the quality inspection unit commissioned by the manufacturer. The orderer may send representatives to participate.


7.3.3 Group C test


7.3.3.1 Group C inspection is an environmental suitability test.


7.3.3.2 For mass-produced products, when the production interruption time is greater than one month, each batch shall be subjected to environmental adaptability inspection, and the continuously produced products shall be subjected to environmental adaptability inspection once a year. When adapting design, workmanship, main components and materials, environmental adaptability testing is required.


7.3.3.3 The environmental adaptability test shall be carried out by the quality inspection department of the LED display production unit or the entrusted quality inspection unit. The set is randomly selected in the display unit of the quality consistency group A test, and the environmental adaptability test is performed.

7.3.3.4 Secondary non-fatal failures are allowed throughout the environmental suitability test. After the repair, the inspection will continue from the unqualified project. LED displays that fail to pass the environmental adaptability test are prohibited from leaving the factory. All in-process and finished products need to be re-inspected. Re-check the environmental adaptability after finding out the cause.


7.3.3.5 Samples that have been tested for environmental suitability shall be marked and shall not be shipped as genuine.


7.3.4 Group F test

7.3.4.1 Group F inspection is a reliability test. Adopt the sequential censoring test scheme specified in GB11463 2-3


7.3.4.2 For mass-produced products, reliable reliability tests shall be carried out every year. Products that are continuously produced shall be tested for reliability for two years. Reliability tests shall be carried out when major designs, processes, main components and materials are changed.

7.3.4.3 The reliability test shall be carried out by the quality inspection department of the LED display production unit or the entrusted quality inspection unit. The sample is taken in accordance with the requirements of GB11463 in the display unit qualified for quality consistency inspection, and the reliability test is performed.

7.3.4.4 For LED displays that fail the reliability test, it is forbidden to leave the factory. All in-process and finished products need to be re-inspected. Re-test the reliability after finding out the cause.


7.3.5 Quality Qualification Determination The first inspection shall comply with the requirements of this specification, and the AF group inspection shall be qualified. The quality consistency test passed.

8, logo packaging transport and storage


The packaging, marking and storage of LED displays shall comply with the requirements of SJ/T 10463.


8.1 mark


8.1.1 Product logo


8.1.1.1 The nameplate should be installed in the appropriate position on the LED display.


8.1.1.2 The nameplate must contain the following contents


a. trademark;


b. product name or model number;

c. date of manufacture;

d. Name of the manufacturer.

8.1.2 Packaging mark The marking of the outer box of the LED display screen shall comply with the requirements of GB6388.

a. Product model and name;

b. trademark;

c. name of the manufacturer;

d. There are signs such as “upward”, “careful and light”, “fear of wetness”, etc. These signs should meet the requirements of GB191.

e. Indicate the number of products, gross weight and packing date.

8.2 Packaging

8.2.1 Packed in a box that meets the requirements of the outer packaging mark.

8.2.2 The packaging must meet the requirements of moisture, vibration and corrosion protection.

8.2.3 In each batch of packaging, the product inspection certificate, packing list, spare parts list and random list of documents shall be included in the calibration box.

8.3 Transport packaged products may be transported by any means of transport, but transport should be protected from rain, sun exposure, corrosive gases and mechanical damage.

8.4 Storage LED display storage temperature range 0-400C, relative humidity is not more than 80%, the surrounding environment is free of acid and alkali and corrosive gas, and there is no strong mechanical vibration, impact and strong magnetic field.
