In terms of user experience, it feels similar to the Xiaomi AI speaker. They’re almost the same. If you're interested, you can check my previous review of the Xiaomi AI speaker.
The main difference is that the Xiaomi AI can control Xiaomi home appliances, while the Tmall Elf is mainly for shopping. To use it for home automation, you’d need additional accessories.
Sound quality isn’t as good as the Xiaomi AI, but it’s definitely cheaper. I’ve since switched to the Xiaomi AI speaker, and gave the Tmall Elf to my parents. They really like these kinds of smart gadgets.
