About LED welding

First, the soldering temperature is between 280 ° C and 350 ° C. The welding time should be controlled at 3-5S, and quenching and heat should be prohibited.

Second, the external lamp bead is soldered to the positive and negative pads. First, the solder is soldered on the pad with soldering iron. If the solder cannot be soldered, it means the pad is contaminated. It is necessary to suspend the soldering and use anhydrous acetaldehyde. The contaminated material must be wiped off with a clean cloth or a dust-free cloth before welding.

Third, add tin on the external power cord and stick tin on the soldering iron. Put the soldering pad, the tin wire and the soldering iron together and solder them together, and the tin wire melts to immediately lift the soldering iron.

Fourth, after the welding is completed, the surface protective film of the lamp bead is uncovered.

In order to better reduce product damage caused by mechanical external forces, it is recommended to always follow the following principles when assembling COB series LEDs:

Do not touch the surface of the optics with your fingers or sharp objects to avoid soiling or damaging the LED surface and internal circuit connections, which may affect the optical performance and partial short circuit of the LED.

In a low-humidity working environment, it is recommended to always take appropriate anti-static grounding measures when handling integrated series LEDs. If the product has not been used for a long time, it is recommended to put it in the oven after dehumidification at 80 °C / 4h before use.

The contact surface between the heat sink and the lamp bead must be flat, and there should be no holes or unevenness in the middle, which may cause poor heat dissipation. When selecting the heat sink, pay attention to whether the heat sink meets the heat dissipation requirements of the lamp bead. The standard requires the substrate temperature to be controlled below 65 °C, and the temperature difference between the substrate and the heat sink is controlled within 10 °C.
