According to the report, the capital of Lumens and Hanshang Hansol LCD and Taichang Jingdian joint venture is about 50 billion won (about US$43.95 million). Lumens will support the investment of 30 billion won (about 26.4 million US dollars) by the parent company and become the largest shareholder. Hansol LCD and Jingdian each invested 10 billion won. The newly formed joint venture company will vertically integrate chips into backlight module (BLU) and other LED processes in Suzhou, China, and supply it to Samsung Electronics.
