It is reported that the project has invested more than 13 million yuan, starting from the turntable of Weijia Town in Laoshan District to the end of Qikou Town of Xingzi County, with a total length of more than 50 kilometers. More than 1,000 solar street lights are installed in the non-collection section of the Huanqi Mountain Highway. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year, when solar street lights will illuminate the entire Huanshan Highway and become another beautiful scenery in Lushan.
The solar street light that will be installed this time can automatically control the switch according to the intensity of daylight and daytime light. During the daytime, the sun can be illuminated for 5 nights. Even on a rainy day, as long as there is light, it can be charged without the need to consume electricity and other energy. According to Gao Rui, director of the Street Light Control Center of Jiujiang Municipal Corporation, with a street light of 250 watts per day for 12 hours per day, more than 1,000 solar street lights can save nearly 800,000 yuan in electricity every year.
