The exhibition focused on the most advanced products and technologies in the LED industry, fully demonstrating the high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection and long life of the LED series products. A number of new products exhibited by Jiuzhou Optoelectronics, which has mastered the latest international packaging technology, attracted wide attention from exhibitors at the exhibition.
It is understood that in the next few years, LED will usher in a period of rapid development, and the market for indicator lights and display panels will usher in a peak. Market research firm StrategiesUnlimited expects the overall LED industry market to exceed $11 billion in 2012. The company's analysts said that in 2007 the market grew 9.5% to $4.6 billion. In the next five years, due to the acceleration of the growth of application products other than mobile phones, the overall LED market is expected to accelerate further. It is expected to have a compound annual growth rate of 20% in the next five years, while sales in 2012 are expected to climb to $11.4 billion.
The 4th China Beijing International LED Exhibition 2008 was hosted by China Huadi International Service Co., Ltd. and Beijing Jingmao Exhibition Co., Ltd., Beijing Lighting Society of China, Beijing Lighting Association of China, Hong Kong Optoelectronics Association, and Photonics Industry Promotion Association Co-organized. The 3rd China Beijing International LED Exhibition ended on August 10, 2007 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. More than 160 famous LED manufacturers from home and abroad participated in the exhibition.
