Keysight launches U5303A 12-bit PCle high-speed data acquisition card

Keysight Technologies has introduced the U5303A 12-bit PCIe high-speed data acquisition card in collaboration with YellowSys. This new solution is specifically tailored for optical coherence tomography (OCT) applications, offering enhanced performance and flexibility. YellowSys specializes in IP processing firmware and software, making this partnership a strategic move to advance OCT technology. The U5303A leverages signal resampling to improve range analysis and ensure a stable ADC sampling rate. By focusing on clock stability during data acquisition, the system minimizes disruptions that could affect signal integrity. Unlike external k-clock sources, which can introduce noise and instability, the U5303A maintains consistent sampling, leading to more accurate results. Additionally, real-time signal processing takes place directly on the data acquisition card, significantly reducing the computational burden on the host system.
