1. Pre-measurement requirements

To test the insulation resistance of the inverter, you must first remove all the connecting lines between the inverter and the power supply, the inverter and the motor, and then all the main circuit input and output pins are reliably shorted by the wires, and then The insulation resistance value is measured on the ground.

2. Frequency converter measurement

1 When measuring the insulation resistance value of the inverter, a qualified 500V insulation resistance meter should be used. It is absolutely impossible to connect only one main circuit end to the ground to measure the insulation resistance value, otherwise it may cause damage to the inverter. It is also impossible to measure the insulation of the control terminal of the inverter. Otherwise, the inverter may be damaged.

2 After the measurement of the insulation resistance value is completed, it is important to remember to remove all the above-mentioned short-circuited main circuit end pins.

3. Motor measurement

If it is necessary to measure the insulation resistance value of the motor, the insulation resistance value of the motor must be measured separately after disconnecting all the connecting wires between the motor and the inverter to prevent the inverter from being damaged.

4. Inverter control loop on-off check

When checking the on/off of the inverter control circuit, use a multimeter with high internal resistance, but do not use an insulation resistance meter or buzzer for measurement. Otherwise, the inverter may be damaged.
