InstaVR, a virtual reality creation, distribution and analysis company, recently announced that they have become a partner of Sanrio Entertainment and will produce VR content for Sanrio's Hello Kitty theme park.
InstaVR is developed by CANDIFLY VR and is the simplest and most convenient VR content creation and distribution platform. InstaVR is a WEB-based authoring platform that can create a VR application in five minutes and publish to each VR platform, they recently updated the platform, not only add the thermal mapping analysis capabilities, but also in the WEB browser to edit VR content, support for browser distribution and APP publishing capabilities.
Sanrio Entertainment’s move is aimed at VR's market appeal, hoping to attract more overseas visitors and increase the global exposure of the Hello Kitty theme park.
"Because of InstaVR's excellent production efficiency, it usually takes two to three weeks for model production to be completed in only one week," said Sanrio representatives at a press conference. "So we can spend more time filling in the details and improving the quality. As for the final cost and delivery time, the production cost only half of our initial budget. In less than three weeks, we have already delivered."
Sanrio will also use InstaVR's gaze mapping function to use monitoring data to guide VR content development, such as adding interactivity to applications through hotspots and navigation. The first Hello Kitty theme park was released in early February and they plan to make more investments in virtual content in April. The app is guided by the role of Hello Kitty and guides users through the entire amusement park.
Marketing through VR can give people around the world the opportunity to experience the theme park for thousands of miles away. Perhaps the Hello Kitty theme park is just the beginning.
