Advantages of using aluminum housings for LED luminaires

Many LED manufacturers accept aluminum led lamp housings for LED lamps. The aluminum casing is easy to dissipate heat, beautiful in appearance and light in weight, and many high-end electronic products are made of aluminum. For example, Apple's Apple laptop "Mac Pro" high-end computer series products accept an all-aluminum casing, which is easy for the laptop to dissipate heat, so that the computer does not even have a fan.

The use of an aluminum housing for the LEDs adds to the life of the lamp housing, making the LED lamp housing look elegant. However, the cost of the aluminum lamp housing is expensive, the construction cost is high, and the lamp housing needs to be processed by a machine tool. Therefore, some high quality, medium quality LED lights will accept aluminum lamp housings.

However, the plastic shell does not dissipate heat easily, and the plastic easily melts and sublimates when it is hot. Therefore, Europe, North America, and Japan do not accept plastic casings. At present, most LED street lamp aluminum casings and integrated die-casting lamp housings are more secure in terms of quality, and are also the best choice for more LED lighting manufacturers.
