The use of high temperature summer frequency converter precautions

After inspection and maintenance, the faults of the inverter are caused by the inverter not cleaning the inverter on time and failing to protect the inverter from the summer high temperature protection measures. 1. Carefully monitor and record each display parameter on the inverter's HMI, and find that the abnormality should be immediately reflected, check the cause, and prevent the fault.

2. Carefully monitor and record the ambient temperature of the inverter room. The ambient temperature should be between -5°C and 40°C. The temperature rise of the phase-shifting transformer shall not exceed 130°C; the frequency converter shall be installed in a well-ventilated or air-conditioned room.

3. In the normal operation of the inverter, a standard thickness A4 paper should be able to be firmly adsorbed on the filter inlet of the air inlet of the door. If it is not possible, the inverter may have various unknown faults in this state for a long time and should be protected.

4. Summer is a rainy season. Prevent rainwater from entering the inverter. Pay special attention to the smooth passage and the air inlet.

5. When the summer temperature is high, the ventilation and heat dissipation at the installation site of the inverter should be enhanced. Avoid excessive dust, acid, salt, corrosive and explosive gases and other unsafe factors in the air;

6. The ventilation and lighting of the frequency conversion room must be good, and the ventilation and heat dissipation equipment can work normally.

7. The filter on the frequency converter cabinet door should normally be cleaned once a week; if the working environment has more dust, the cleaning interval should also be shortened according to the actual situation;

8. The frequency conversion room must be kept clean and tidy, and it should be cleaned at any time according to the actual situation on site;

In a large-scale power electronic device, the temperature rises and the failure rate increases a lot. Therefore, the thermal design of the inverter power device directly relates to the reliability and stability of the device. The frequency converter as a fine electronic instrument is very harsh for the use of the environment, which requires artificially created the best operating environment for the frequency converter. In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment, a large amount of heat is dissipated, reasonable design and calculation are performed, the heat dissipation and ventilation scheme is optimized, and the efficient heat dissipation of the equipment is essential for improving the reliability of the equipment.
