Alienware aliens do not consider games tablet: technology is not mature

"We have already discussed the game board several times in-house," Leyden explained. "But there are still many technical details that haven't been solved yet that made it hard for our core user base to accept the tablet."

The biggest problem is that the PC gaming game experience is very difficult to reproduce on the tablet. Like casual games such as Angry Birds, the touch interface is very suitable.

Leyden said: "The problem lies in the input mechanism and how the game uses the mechanism and translates into in-game actions."

The ideas among the various vendors on the solution may be quite different. Unlike Razer's joystick, Leyden's vision is more futuristic: "At some point in the future, tablet PCs can spread eye tracking, and players can This way to control the role."

In addition, the rapid development of computing power of the tablet computer also thanks to NVIDIA and their Tegra processors. The future of the tablet will have more cores, stronger GPUs and more memory, revolutionizing the mobile gaming experience. However, Leyden said that this and Alienware previously had no experience compared to everyone: "From a performance point of view, the tablet is still in an ascendant, it is not at its peak and its absolute value is not enough."

So Alienware has no intention of this aspect at present, but with the Tablet PC's market share is getting higher and higher, and Razer's products in case of success, Dell and Alienware may also immediately follow.
