GE is authorized by Rambus LED

According to reports, General Electric's electrical and lighting division recently reached a led lighting license agreement with Rambus. GE Lighting will receive patent licenses for Rambus lighting, design and manufacturing.

GE's initial goal was to create a flat panel LED lighting system for the building and business markets. LED light source is considered to be the mainstream of the future lighting market due to its long life and power saving. GE has developed a 17-year LED bulb.

Rambus began operating the lighting and display business last year, including edge LED optical design, MicroLens light extraction technology, light guides and multi-functional film design technology.

General Electric's LED products are currently aimed at lighting applications in buildings, small-size displays, signage systems, outdoor, station transportation and other places.

When talking about the licensing agreement, Jeff Parker, senior vice president of lighting and display at Rambus, said that the two companies believe that they can create more energy-efficient and cheaper LED products.

There are many features that separate LED lights from traditional models. They have a reputation for excellence achieved through years of innovation and quality design that has enabled them to outperform competing models with ease. LED linear lights are specifically designed for taller ceilings and larger areas. They focus light more directly to create powerful illumination at a long range. This makes them perfect for commercial and industrial applications such as warehouses and retail stores. While there are many options when it comes to installing light fixtures in your building, choosing LED technology will give you a better experience that you will never regret.
