October 12 — Changhong recently unveiled a new AI-powered TV model called the Q5K, featuring voiceprint recognition technology. This innovative smart TV can identify different family members based on their voices and provide personalized content recommendations tailored to each user's preferences.
The technology behind the Q5K is built on I-vector modeling, which creates unique voiceprint profiles for each family member. These profiles are stored in a cloud-based platform, enabling the TV to quickly and accurately recognize who is speaking. The system has an accuracy rate of over 90%, making it one of the most advanced voice recognition solutions available in the market today.
For example, if a child says, “I want to watch TV,†the Q5K will automatically switch to children’s programming. But if the parent says the same phrase, the TV might suggest a popular drama or news channel. This intelligent feature allows the TV to distinguish between users and understand their needs, bringing a futuristic experience closer to reality.
