LED lights are more energy efficient, lighter and have a longer life. The LED Street Light that was replaced in Shekou Industrial Zone has a theoretical service life of 50,000 hours, far exceeding the service life of thousands of hours of ordinary street lamps. The replacement of the streetlight project was undertaken by Shenzhen Xihaidao Municipal Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shekou Industrial Zone. After nearly one year of reference and comparison of similar products, the company finally determined that a certain semiconductor lighting industry with a leading position in technology and capital would be limited. The company cooperated and officially signed the contract.
One of the highlights of this cooperation is that it will operate in a market-oriented energy management mode (EMC), that is, the user does not need to invest in the previous period, all street lamp material costs, installation costs, and maintenance costs within the 12-year period agreed by both parties. All are paid by street lamp manufacturers. In each year of the 12-year period, the user only needs to return the difference profits generated by the saved electricity consumption to the street lamp manufacturer. After the contract expires, the user can fully own the street lamp.
